Towns
Towns:
We as Admins had made one town, the main town. But members of the server can make towns anywhere else, but it has to be a fair distance away from any other town. When someone makes a town, they must choose the town’s PVP color because PVP will be a constant thing. No exceptions. Town can be as big as they want, as long as it is a reasonable size.
Creation of a Town:
To create a town you must have 5 reasonably sized houses (Or if it is underground, 5 very big rooms). Nothing is required in the houses. But having better things in your houses will attract more residents. The goal of a town is to become the best town possible with more and stronger residents. This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t allow weak residents, having even weak residents can come in handy. Having a town means that you can put out quests for your town members, however, only your town residents can do the quests. Unless you hire a mercenary, they can do anything they are asked to do besides terrorize or declare war on a town (This will be explained farther in the
page)
Being a town mayor/leader/king:
Being a mayor/leader/king of a town means you have a higher priority. You could be a town that only accepts a certain race, or a town that only lets characters with good items in. or a town that allows everyone. It all depends on you. And this also means with your new town, you can put up quests for your residents, such as going out to plant trees, collect wood, make a new house for the town, ect. Being a leader of a town also means that you can collect items from your residents as payment for you letting them live there, such as copper ore, or silver, or gold for currency. Having a town is full of possibilities.
Treaties/Wars:
Between two town can be either friendship, neutrality, or hate. Meaning Friendship=Treaty has been made, Neutrality=Not affected by other town, or Hate=War has been declared.
Treaties:
If you have become very good friends with a town or you just don’t want to be their enemy, a treaty can be made with another town. To do this, you will have to send a
messenger with the message of treaty to the other town. If they agree, you are now at complete peace with that town unless they destroy the treaty. And if you are at treaty with a town, they can assist you, or you can assist them in war.
Neutrality:
If you have nothing to do with another town and you have neither made a treaty nor made war with another town you are automatically in neutrality with before said town. Which means you are unaffected by that town.
War:
If you have become great enemies with a town and just cannot stand them anymore, or just want them out of the picture, you can declare war on them. When you declare war, it means you have sent a messenger telling the other town that you have declared war. They must agree and send the messenger back telling them. Both towns set out to fight one another. When this happens, the 2 towns automatically become a Tower defense game. So you have to set up a 9x9 gold brick wall in a house of your choosing in your town. If the other town is able to destroy the other town’s 9x9 gold brick wall, they win. If you lose a war, the winning town gets the losers town. Meaning if you lose, you and your residents must move out. And you lose the town to the winner. To start a war, an admin must be online. (The starter town is owned by admins so no-one can declare war on it, it has a treaty with all towns automatically.)
Guilds:
If you own a town, you can make guild, or ranks for you citizens in that town. A guild they belong to can mean anything from higher ranked to what their specialty is. You can make it as you want.
